Terms of Service
A plain-language summary of the terms that apply to ProofPay accounts.
The service
ProofPay is software for recording additional construction work, pricing variations, obtaining client approval, storing completion evidence and preparing invoices. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter.
No guarantee of payment
ProofPay helps you create a documented record. It does not guarantee that a client will approve a variation or that you will be paid, and it does not provide legal or contractual advice. Always check your own contract terms and notice periods.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the activity of users you invite to your company account.
Subscriptions and billing
The Free plan is limited to 1 active project and 3 variations per month. ProofPay Pro is £29 per month or £290 per year, excluding VAT, billed through our payment processor. You can cancel at any time; your projects and variations remain in your account.
Acceptable use
Do not use ProofPay to store unlawful content, attempt to access other companies' data, or interfere with the operation of the service.
Availability and liability
We work to keep ProofPay available and reliable but the service is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the twelve months before a claim.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
